Thanksgiving 2008

We enjoyed Thanksgiving Dinner this year at my mom's house in Michigan. :)

Something simple and pretty. (the place settings came later...mom's fault). :)

Our growing family.

Yes, we fit 5 adults and 3 kids around the table. :) No one was left out!

Our feast! (and another pic of mom's pretty kitchen)

A request was made for something other than pumpkin pie. This was a yummy trifle! (and proof that i can actually bake when i try...well...)

Everyone wiped out asleep after a great, filling dinner!

101 Pictures

No, there aren't 101 pictures on this post (well, close). :) That's how many pictures I've taken in just 24 hours! Hey, I haven't seen my adorable nephew Bailey in 3 months so of course I'm going to capture him as much as I can. And just a side note, there will be MANY more pics to come in the next few days!!! :)

Noah playing with playdough...thanks Mamaw Wilma!

Ruby 'meeting' Bailey.

She may be taller, but he's definitely the heavyweight! :)

Bailey dreaming and smiling in his sleep...awww...

Noah gets WAY spoiled at Mamaw Wilma's (and learns to be sneaky too~this is really daddy's unguarded pop).

Mamaw and Ruby

Bailey's first time in the exersaucer.

The mirror was his favorite! Can you blame him? :)

Hmm...wanna trade toys?

Apparently the day before thanksgiving is 'let's wear red' day.

Bailey laughing at Uncle Bryan

First time in the jumper

Learning to be a cowboy

Ruby enjoyed jumping in a new jumper and was quite the cowgirl!

She bounced herself right to sleep :)

Mom's New Kitchen

Mom wanted me to post pics of her new kitchen for our family to see. :) Everything you see was redone completely by my mom, Aunt Florence and Uncle Garry. I think it's BEAUTIFUL! i'm in search of a pic of the old kitchen so the comparison can be made. but trust me, no one misses the 70's orange countertops! ;)

Michigan vs OSU 2008

As much as we love football, the most fun comes from the annual Mich/OSU game. Since our house is divided, we spend the day teasing and chiding (nicely of course) ;) and have a blast. This year we celebrated the game with our friends BrIan (not to be confused with my BrYan) and Shilo, another divided family. :) We all had a great time watching football all day! :) And here are just a 'few' pics to make up for all the days I've missed recently. ;)

Mama's Little Pink Michigan Cheerleader.

Mmm...Love it!

Addison in her true blue cheerleading outfit! SO cute!

I'd have that look too if I had to wear those colors...

See her trying to get away from him? Can you blame her?

This picture is for Noelle. I made sure she had something proper to spit up on throughout the game. :) Look closely, it is an Ohio State bib. :D She didn't get my Blue jersey once. ;)

I think by this point is was...well, over. That's okay.

Shilo corrupting my daughter by teaching her O-H-I-O. My son also chanted o-h-i-o on and off the entire night. Thanks, Shilo and BrYan.

BrIan teaching my daughter GOOD stuff.

Cutie!

Avery decorating Bryan with the Michigan decorations he tore down after the game. Lucky for him he's my sweet little cutie pie... (Avery, not BrYan) ;)

Avery, Addison and Noah playing behind the chair.

The new 'fort' kept these three occupied for quite a long time! it was nice. :)

This is what happens when the guys are in charge of the kids...

Daddies, Daughters, and Football

Yep, this is how all Michigan fans feel this season. :(
