I think I need to either start posting more often, or take less pictures!!! A bunch to share. Many are doubles from facebook...sorry if you've seen them there. We've had a busy week, therefore the camera has had a busy week too! :)

I've been busy working on several larger house projects and Noah has been very good at entertaining himself and being a very good boy. This was what I found the other day. :) He had undressed himself, climbed into the sink, plugged it up and ran his own bath... He hasn't had a bath in the sink in about a year, but has wanted to get in lately because sis has gotten a few quick baths there. He played in the sink for almost 3 hours!!! Mommy got a LOT done! :)

Ruby Anna Larie 8 Months Old

It is crazy to think my baby girl is 8 months old today! I don't remember Noah growing up this fast. We are blessed to have her and enjoy every second we spend with her. She is our miracle from God and I thank Him for her every day. Over this past weekend she was diagnosed with a 'mystery' blood disorder, meaning the doctor's can't figure out what it is. She isn't in pain, just a bit fussy and a few other 'minor' things. Right now the biggest thing is her lack of appetite. I'm praying it will pick up again soon as she has had some weight loss in just the past week. We are in the waiting stage, to see if it will clear up and go away on it's own, or progress with other symptoms to help it be better diagnosed. She is still our happy, smiling little girl and we love her very much!

The next few pics are of the rash that caught my attention (and the attention of several doctors), yet doesn't fit the pattern of what they think it should be. This is a petechial rash, which means her blood vessels are rupturing (bruising) underneath her skin. It doesn't hurt her right now, but could cause discomfort if it continues to bleed and spread. Right now they are just teeny tiny purple dots covering all of her left leg, and just a couple on her right. They're hard to see when not in a picture, but they are there. It is usually a sign of some very serious diseases, but she tested negative for all of them. They are going to retest her in 3 weeks (or sooner if her symptoms progress faster).

Daddy's Little Helper

There hasn't been ONE day since Christmas that Noah hasn't used his tools to 'fix' things around the house. :) He loves when Bryan gets the real tools out and is always right beside him to help. These pics were of them taking the nails out of the baseboards. AND I have to explain his cute little outfit. For some reason, for the past two weeks, he HAS to wear his blue Diego jacket and put his Wall-e pillow on his back like a backpack. EVERY DAY this is how he looks walking around the house. :) I love it. He's tried to go places like this too, but mommy has kindly said no. ;)

This was the day after the big snow. He really wanted to go out and play again, but it was WAY too cold. However, he decided since mom wouldn't dress him, he would dress himself to go outside. :) Yep, he's just in his boxers. And yes, he has on two different shoes, but they are on the correct feet! :) He also couldn't find his other mitten and wasn't happy about that. (but no pants was just fine)...

SNOW!!

Finally enough measurable snow to play in!! (and it's still comin' down!).. He had a blast, even though it was FREEZING outside! He played and played and played.... :)

I tried to tell him they wouldn't go on the snow... but he had to drag them out and try just in case.
