Ruby's First Cereal

I finally decided to try cereal with Ruby now that she is four months. i started it earlier with noah and he did not like it at all, so i was wondering what her reaction would be since she's been much more high maitenance. :) i was happily surprised that she LOVED it and ate the whole bowl her first feeding! she was much more lively during her feeding than noah as well, which is going to make for some messy fun!

we were able to spend a saturday in cincinnati with bryan's brother and sister-in-law. we had a great time and it was fun to see the boys playing together.

i've finally been figuring out my new camera and have gone picture CRAZY... so i'm sure there's going to be TONS of pics on here now... oh wait... :) but with such adorable test subjects, how can i not?

Since Ruby's gotten a little heavy for Noah's liking, he asked if she could sit by him. I couldn't pass up the picture opportunity, and Noah's conversation after I got the camera out was priceless! i would video him talking, but with his speech disorder he's very hard to understand unless you spend a lot of time with him. we're working on it though!

"nope, but NOW i'll smile!!" not sure if i love her smile or her hair sticking up the most. her 'fluff' always stands up after her bath!

sunday school dress

i admit i didn't really like this dress when i bought it, but couldn't pass up paying $1 for it when it still had the original price tags. after i put it on her though i thought it was quite adorable! it reminds me of the sunday school dresses we always put my sister in.

she tries her best to sit up every time we put her down. she usually just ends up face down, but boy, she must have some strong ab muscles!
