Pumpkin Carving!

It was so fun to have Noah actually help carve the pumpkins this year! He wasn't too sure about all the goo, as you can see, but he still helped bryan get everything out!

Boo at the Zoo!

Last weekend my mom came to visit, so we took noah to boo at the zoo! we went in the evening and actually only saw a few animals, but we had a lot of fun walking around and teaching noah how to trick or treat! and he had a blast riding and pushing the wagon and was fascinated by the candy!

Circle S Farms!

we spent the afternoon the other day at the pumpkin farm! it was quiet the event! noah was so inquisitive about everything and we spent the entire time chasing and herding him as he wandered and explored everything! there are very few pics of him smiling and posing because he was too busy trying to figure out what everything was and did! he had so much fun! and of course we got him his pumpkin. it was fun!

Big Brother!

so in case you haven't seen the shirt on one of my many other sites, here it is! =) Noah is going to be a big brother! We are very excited! The sweet little new one is due on May 30th. We were able to see it and hear its heartbeat on ultrasound this past week and all is good. I could post those pictures, but it's almost impossible to see because it's still so tiny! We can't wait for Noah to be a big brother! =)

Clean Sweep

So my son has fallen in love with cleaning! He loves to sweep with the broom and push around the vacuum cleaner. So I went to find him a kid's cleaning set but couldn't find one! I still want to check Big Lots cause i think they'll probably have a cheap one. But instead of him whacking us all with the big broom, I took the swiffer and shortened the handle so it was more his size! he loves it, and so do i, because with 7 pets the floor can ALWAYS use a good sweep!

Dress up

creation museum

on saturday we drove down to the creation museum and spent the day. it was interesting, but noah was tired and had no patience all day, so i spent most of the day chasing an unhappy baby. at one point they have the story of adam and eve, and they have the models in a pool by a waterfall. he sat forever on the wall staring at them, as quiet as could be. i thought of asking someone if i could take them home with me... if you look in the far left corner, you may see adam in some of them. he fell asleep before we got to the gardens, which was sad because i could have got some amazing pictures of him...oh well! it was a neat experience! oh and the pic of him crying by the dinosaur head wasn't because he was scared but because i wouldn't let him keep his snack for the picture...yes he was tired...

Happy Birthday Buddy!

Today is Kaden's first birthday and Noah enjoyed going to his fun party! Just a pic of the birthday boy. They haven't seen each other for a few weeks so when they first found each other today their eyes lit up and they did their little screaming hellos... little buddies are so cute!

Also happy birthday to Faith, Lydie and Brittney! Today is quite the popular day! =)

He's Walking!!!!!

so finally he found his confidence and has taken off! no more 2-3 steps, he's finally walking everywhere! this is just a very short video of him walking...the batteries died while i was filming it!! but we have more on the handycam and i'm sure i'll get more on here of him whizzing around!

a little adventurous

noah was getting a little fussy last night, so since bryan took the car to work, i plopped him in the stroller and decided to just go walk around some of the stores near us. half way through we stopped at mcdonald's, just to take advantage of the playground so noah could get out and move. i haven't been in one in quite a while, so i was amazed at the four story (pint size stories that is) climbing thingy, which was the only thing to play on. being all enclosed i wasn't sure i wanted him to play in it (it isn't made for adults at all) and wasn't sure he'd want to. well before i knew it he laughed and took off up the pipe, through the bubble and to the windy stairs, which he proceeded to climb. he'd look down at me and laugh every now and then, and continue to go up. well, the third story is mostly enclosed tubes and such, of which i lost my son! i wasn't sure quite what to do, not having another child with me who i could send after him, and knowing i couldn't get him myself. so i just waited and figured he'd have to come down eventually (and if i had to i would send a tiny teenage burger flipper up there to get him!). about five minutes later his little face pops up in the screen way up high and he starts waving to me and laughing, then disappears again. finally he decides to come down and when i could reach him i slowly pulled him to 'safety'! of course then he cried because he wanted to go back up... but my heart had had enough stress!

then today we went to a new park with this big climbing rock wall on one side, which he proceeded to climb three different times (with mommy close behind of course!!)...

i think i'm raising quite the adventurer!

oh and walking news!! he does take about 4 steps now on his own, and even let's go of my hand on his own! today at the park he took 9 steps and only stopped when he found an empty french fry box! yay for noah!

noah and daddy were having fun with his shark pj's last night! and as i'm typing this the video is playing and noah is cracking up watching it!

sorry about no shirt on bryan...that happens when he comes home from camp in 90 degree weather all day! who can blame him!

Super Noah!

Bryan works the Dublin Irish Festival every year so I finally had to get a pic of him in his 'skirt'...yes i know, a kilt... but still! So while he was there, Noah and I spent the day at Grandma and Grandpa King's! Grandpa made the rocking chair just for Noah! it has no nails or sharp edges and he just loves to rock in it! he has been making a lot of neat woodcrafts for noah, including a ton of trucks and cars that noah loves to push around and make noises!

and of course the title of this post is super noah! and why? i know it's hard to see on the pics, but his shirt has a star on it that says Super Noah! we'll work on the whole not being conceited thing as we go... =) thanks amy and kaden for the super fun shirts!! =)

clippers game

sylvan gave us free tickets to the clippers game tonight so a bunch of us went and had a lot of fun! noah loved the chicken, which was hilarious! it was a good time!
and when we left clippers were winning 9-2,..we were able to see several homeruns, bases loaded plays, and some other good baseball things you don't get to see a lot of at one game! a lot of fun!

all boy

since bryan was gone with camp for a few days, noah, the dogs, and i jumped in the car and went to see grandma wilma in michigan! on the way he fell asleep with his hand in his snack cup...and it stayed there for two hours!! colin got him the shirt 'i do all my own stunts', which fits him perfectly with the four wheeler and tricycle and climbing he's been doing lately! he also loves the computer, and was fascinated with my sister's laptop (which she didn't know about til now!) =) and of course i had to take a picture of his new shirt amy got him... 'my mommy is blogging this! :)' is that not the perfect shirt? you'll see it again on the clippers pics since i took a lot of pics of him all day today!

**one slight note...i broke the new camera, but it still takes pics, i just don't know what i'm taking a pic of...so far most of them are still pretty good! obviously i'm not going to post all the bad ones! =)**

For Aunt Lindsay!

these are pics for aunt lindsay because she bought him this outfit for his birthday! he wore it to church today, then to the park. and of course i had to pick the 'slide times' to show it because of all the slide pictures. he's gotten very good at going down on his own! i have some videos of that i'll put on another time!

noah has loved cell phones since he was very little! he has one of our old ones to play with (the toy ones don't amuse him very long) and he loves to talk! lately he's been calling daddy, since bryan's been gone at camp so much. if you listen he'll say hi daddy in the middle of all his hi baby's!

noah's been getting a lot of baths in the sink lately because of all his sand play! he was having a blast the other night and just giggling away...and soaking the kitchen! but it all cleans up, just like him!

Noah's First Birthday!!!

Yesterday was Noah's first birthday!! We had a wonderful picnic at Homestead Park in Hilliard and enjoyed having fun! Noah loved the attention and the cake and the gifts! I had the jumper set up for Corbin, but of course Noah wanted in it even though it was way too small! He had a lot of fun playing with his buddy kaden and loving on grandpa and grandma king! He did not like us singing to him, I think because we were all staring at him, so he gave us a dirty look the whole time. He loved his birthday cupcake though! We had a great time!
