Noah had a blast playing in the snow! we stuffed him in his snowsuit grandma wilma gave him and tossed him out there! he laughed and played until his nose was shiny red! and it was a beautiful day to go out with the sunshine! he isn't sure how to work the mittens yet, but he sure tried! now he looks outside and says 'please?'... it's so fun to watch him explore!
we finally got a REAL christmas tree!!! i've wanted one forever! and now that we have noah we decided this year to get one! we had fun finding the right 'little' tree, not wanting something too big for just our little house...well, it looked small til we got it home! but it is gorgeous and smells so yummy!! i can't wait to get it decorated! yay!
we got noah a cute santa outfit for christmas this year which he loves dressing up in! however, i'm sure santa doesn't carry around the bear and pacifier! i've never gotten his picture with santa because they're stupid expensive, but at walmart today they were giving away a free picture, so i thought 'yay!'. noah did as well, until he got close to santa! then he freaked! but i LOVE this picture of him crying...it's classic! santa wasn't very nice either! he told noah he had to give the candy cane back and come back next year as a good boy! >:/ but being the nice mommy i am, i just ignored him instead of saying what i wanted to say to him! it was a good memory!
Well, if it's a girl, this could be an idea of how she'll look! Why is my SON wearing a pony tail you ask? He brought me the rubber band and tried to put it in his hair (apparently from watching me since sadly my hair is in a ponytail 99% of the time anymore!), so I put it in! and of course we had to take pics of him to embarrass him later in life! :) bryan called him samurai boy, because he likes to wrap an oven mitt around his shoulders and makes him look samurai... the other pic is of him munching on a lime! he loves limes and lemons and anything sour!! i love my BOY!
Well, due to my camera, I only have a few Thanksgiving pics! Thanksgiving was a little different this year, and because of that, lunch at my house that day was shrimp kabobs! My sister and I enjoyed the crazy thanksgiving lunch, having never had anything but 'real thanksgiving dinner' on that day! We spent the evening at bryan's mom and dad's with his brother, sis-n-law, and nephew! Corbin and Noah played and played until they were so hot that Corbin lost his pants and Noah lost his shirt! :) We had our thanksgiving at my house on saturday but i was too busy cooking (and then tired) to take any pics! it was fun to have grandma wilma and lindsay here for a few days!
While my mom was here, we decided to take Noah to Build-a-Bear to make him a Rudolph! I love Rudolph, and turns out, so does Noah! It was so much fun and he got so good at stuffing the deer that I almost got him an application to work there!
We had fun taking Noah around the neighborhood dressed as a dinosaur! He knew what to do right away and even ran off and left Bryan to go to the next house! After we let him get candy, we went back home and let him give candy out! He loved his outfit so much that the next night, he found it in his basket, carried it to me, and said "Please?"! so we put it on him and he wore it around the house for quite a while as he played!
It was so fun to have Noah actually help carve the pumpkins this year! He wasn't too sure about all the goo, as you can see, but he still helped bryan get everything out!
Last weekend my mom came to visit, so we took noah to boo at the zoo! we went in the evening and actually only saw a few animals, but we had a lot of fun walking around and teaching noah how to trick or treat! and he had a blast riding and pushing the wagon and was fascinated by the candy!
just some fun pics...his first big booboo, which doesn't look so bad on camera...a huge black/purple knot! then of course, who doesn't drink out of a shoe?? he came walking through the house like this on his own... and then i found the cute little baby pic of the day he was born (as i'm trying to get his scrapbook started...yes, started...)!
we spent the afternoon the other day at the pumpkin farm! it was quiet the event! noah was so inquisitive about everything and we spent the entire time chasing and herding him as he wandered and explored everything! there are very few pics of him smiling and posing because he was too busy trying to figure out what everything was and did! he had so much fun! and of course we got him his pumpkin. it was fun!
so in case you haven't seen the shirt on one of my many other sites, here it is! =) Noah is going to be a big brother! We are very excited! The sweet little new one is due on May 30th. We were able to see it and hear its heartbeat on ultrasound this past week and all is good. I could post those pictures, but it's almost impossible to see because it's still so tiny! We can't wait for Noah to be a big brother! =)
So my son has fallen in love with cleaning! He loves to sweep with the broom and push around the vacuum cleaner. So I went to find him a kid's cleaning set but couldn't find one! I still want to check Big Lots cause i think they'll probably have a cheap one. But instead of him whacking us all with the big broom, I took the swiffer and shortened the handle so it was more his size! he loves it, and so do i, because with 7 pets the floor can ALWAYS use a good sweep!
