Mama's Little Roly Poly

Well, not only can she scoot now, she can roll!! She rolled over for the first time on Thursday while Bryan was trying to change her diaper. She was 15 weeks and 2 days, only one day less than when Noah first rolled over! However, she can roll back to front AND front to back (he could only do back to front for the first few weeks). Just two days after her first roll she can consistently roll both ways whenever she wants. I'm proud of her but also a little sad that she's no longer immobile. Oh well, at least she isn't crawling...yet!

Proud Baby Girl

Here I go! (and yes, i know she doesn't match...this is her 3rd shirt today, thanks to all the massive drooling lately!)

Go Go Go!

Almost there!

Yay for Ruby!

Rice Krispy Treats

If you know me at all, you know i DO NOT like to bake... i LOVE LOVE LOVE to cook, but have never been great at baking, so dessert is few and far between at our house. However, one of my goals this school year is to bake more, and since Noah enjoys helping me cook, I figured he could help me bake! And WOW, did it make it so much more fun. Yeah, they're only rice krispy treats, but making them with a 2 year old was so much more exciting!

Counting out the marshmallows... He would only count to 8, then start over in Spanish, count to ocho, then start again in English. I don't know why...

Pouring in the mallows

Spraying the pan... and the coffee pot, counter, and anything else near the pan... :)

Thank you Mamaw Wilma for this HUGE box of rice krispies!!

Pouring in the rice krispies

Scooping them into the pan. (notice all the zucchini and bananas on the counter...those are supposed to turn into nut breads at some point...)

All done!

Taking his first bite

Nummy! (he can't say Y's) :)

Helping Sissy Have a Seat

We had to return the bouncy seat we borrowed for Ruby over the summer and with 3 dogs I'm still not ready to put her down on the floor. Thankfully I found one at target on clearance! Noah has been into using screwdrivers lately (and I'm in trouble if he ever figures out how to use them correctly!) and had a great time helping Bryan build Ruby's bouncy seat.

Thankfully his diaper is covering his mechanic's crack. :)

Working intently.

He was excited to have her sit in it. He's saying cheese even though that's a strange looking face!

"Thank you, Brother!" She loves it!

What can I say?

At first glance you'd think Noah peed on the couch, but no, it's not pee, water, milk...any liquid that's easy to clean and wash. If you notice in his hand he's holding a lid...that used to be on the bottle of Caladryl Gel, (which is now empty). By the time I found him the gel had started to solidify and was a gunky sticky mess. But the best part of these pictures is that I didn't have to clean it up. You see, what's missing from these pictures is Bryan. He had fallen asleep on the futon and Noah had been sitting on his legs, putting the 'lotion' on daddy. Bryan was covered in this nice sticky mess and wasn't too happy when I woke him up. I was very unhappy at first which is why i didn't take the pic with bryan in it. But as I stood there I realized it was kinda funny and that my little guy is only little once. But the best part is, he thought he was helping daddy by putting on the lotion and that's what i want to remember.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Kaden!

We had fun celebrating Kaden's second birthday today at the park in beautiful weather! The boys played together, fought together (MINE!!), cried together, and so on over and over. :) But they had a blast and entertained themselves as only two year olds can do.

pushing the 4-wheeler... no not riding...

pushing the picnic table...

playing cornhole...kinda

kaden LOVES ruby and has to hug on her whenever we see him. today he wanted a kiss! :)

eating lunch (after they decided where they wanted the picnic table to be...)

All around the town...

It was quite fun packing mom's expedition with the three little ones. Noah thought he was so cool that he got to sit in the back.

travelin' buddies

the double stroller came in VERY handy when we took both babies out.

This was our first cousin's sleepover that turned into a week long sleepover. See the dog? yep, that would be my bed.

noah slept on the snuggler and liked it so much he even took his naps there (when he actually took a nap!).

Ruby Anna Larie 3 Months

Her smiles and laughter make me melt!

i did some really pretty things with this picture, but can't get it to load on here. :( but it's still cute!

a new habit for her is to make fists and put her arms out like she's supergirl!

her other new habit is sucking on her hands. she is almost constantly sucking on one or both!

Mamaw's Grandbabies

So after a LONG time of no posts (i forgot my usb cord in ohio), here are pictures that were taken of my mom, bailey, noah, and ruby for some sweet Grandma/cousins pics. They turned out pretty cute! :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this pic of Ruby and Bailey... it looks like they're telling secrets!
Mamaw Wilma with her three grandbabies

Mamaw with just Bailey and Ruby... (Noah was throwing a tantrum at the beginning of pictures so he wasn't in these)

Once he realized he could be on "tv" he perked up and cheesed it the rest of the time... He kept patting them on the head to tell them they were being good.. (like he does with our dogs...)

Ham... this was his own pose

i LOVE this pic of him
the next person who says this looks like a school pic gets e-smacked. growing up WAY TOO fast...
