Fun in MI / 7 weeks old

Saturday was also Colin's birthday so we went to their adorable little apartment after the shower to hang out. He enjoys vintage things and he pulled out an old popcorn maker. Noah loves popcorn and was fascinated by it! My favorite was the record player, but I didn't get a pic.

Mamaw Wilma got some fun toys for Noah to play with while he visits! This will be great to occupy him when I'm there without Bryan when Bailey is born.

Mom started a tradition of making a sign to welcome our kids on their first visit to her house. It had poured and stormed right after we got there, but you can still somewhat read it.


Ruby Anna Larie 7 weeks old now! It's hard to get her to smile AND take the pic, but i got a little one!

Well, I have Noah by himself is his big brother shirt, and Ruby by herself in her little sister shirt... someday I'll get them both together!

Lindsay and Colin


Lindsay opening my mom's special gift. My mom has given each grandchild something that belonged to my dad that was special to him. Noah got a $ bill that my dad carried in his wallet all the time. For Bailey and Ruby, it is a large piggy bank filled with my dad's pennies that he enjoyed counting and kept in a huge container on the fireplace. I didn't get a pic of the bank... this is where the shower ended for me... it's a long story (don't ask!).

This was the first time Ruby had the chance to settle down and sleep after being passed around for several hours. Colin practiced his calming skills from baby class and put her right to sleep. He rocked her for quite a while... good job Colin!


For once I'm the skinnier sister! :) at least for a few more days...

Lindsay's Baby Shower

My sister's baby shower was this past weekend and was absolutely wonderful! She was blessed with many people showing up to encourage her! She also received many things for Bailey which is super because they didn't have anything! (my pic was before the shower started, before many people came!) I'm counting down the days til i get to meet my nephew! ~~(17)~~

A busy birthday!

We had a wonderful day for Noah's real birthday today! He was like the energizer bunny and just kept going and going!! Mamaw Wilma and I took him to Galaxy games this morning to play in the climbing thing, then we spent the evening at daddy's work at supergames with the Bernard clan! He had a TON of fun while turning two!


He's recently seen the movie 'meet the robinsons' and loves the dinosaur in the movie... he just had to pet the dino at supergames while it was deflating.

Noah's 2nd Birthday Party!

We had Noah's Second birthday party at Homestead park again this year and had a great time! The kids enjoyed fingerpainting, the playground, and getting wet! Noah had a great time playing with his buddies, eating cupcakes, and opening gifts. He still didn't like everyone staring at him and singing 'Happy Birthday', but he enjoyed blowing out the candles (even though the wind beat him to it!) :)

We got him the little frontloader as an early bday present and he fell asleep playing with it. He's never fallen asleep in the middle of playing before.

5 weeks old

I think all the weight she gains goes right to her cheeks! :) and her hair is starting to fall out on the top/front (it sticks to my hand if i rub her head!!) ...thankfully the back is still thick and longer!

we are very thankful that we were finally able to get Ruby's medicine for her! we were warned by the doc and my sister (a pharmacy tech) that it was a very strong peppermint taste to try and cover up the horrible taste of the meds itself, which only made it worse, and they were right. She DOES NOT like it at all, but she doesn't cry and has only spit out a little bit. These horrible faces only last until she swallows it, then she's all better. She's only had two doses, but it has already started reducing her gagging, especially while she's sleeping. She only has to take it a few days, then we can stop it and see if she's gotten better. If so she doesn't have to take more, if not, we try another few days. I'm praying her flap matures the next few days and she can stop taking it. I don't enjoy seeing my pretty girl making such icky faces!
