Christmas at Mamaw Wilma's

We woke up early Christmas morning and drove to Michigan to spend some time with Mamaw Wilma. We had a great Christmas Day!

My favorite thing in this picture?? no, not the tree...the foot! :)

Christmas dinner including the babies

No, not deja vu... i have posted almost identical pics to this before! EVERY time we're in Michigan, it never fails that he swipes Bryan's pop when we aren't looking... I'm going to make a scrapbook of all these pics as he grows! At home he can't have pop and we don't buy cans so he thinks he's something else at Mamaw's...

She was not happy being BY the table, she wanted to sit AT the table and eat with the BIG spoon off of MOMMY'S plate like everyone else... such a princess...

and i'm so glad my little princess has such ladylike manners... :P

but Mama loves her anyway! :)

Ruby and Bailey enjoying the new playmat from Grandma King

there is only one word for this picture...SPOILED

Lindsay, Colin and Bailey

Just GUESS where that paper was about a half second after this shot... goodness...

Bailey is the smart baby in the family...he just tore the paper off like a normal person!

Ruby's 2008 Special Edition Barbie for the year she was born

I love that my children don't open gifts like a normal person! :) "But Mamaw used too much tape, Mom!"

The little ones just couldn't make it through all those gifts...

Noah's gift from Colin... he LOVES this crazy car!

Mamaw Wilma

Every year we take a picture to play 'Find the Dogs' after we're finished opening gifts. :)

Another annual picture is of my sister's cat Brewster up inside the Christmas tree... Sadly he died recently, so Dakota stood in for him underneath it this year...

I so cannot wait to have a fireplace someday!

Tired Mama... Wide Awake Baby...

"Wow, Mom!! Look at all the pretty things!"

I have so many pics of Mamaw with each of the three grandkids, just rocking away... LOVE them... but I gotta say, the spoon in the hand is definitely a first for these pics! :) that's my girl!

Christmas at Grandma & Grandpa King's!

We enjoyed Christmas Eve over at Grandpa and Grandma King's house along with Uncle Mike, Aunt BJ and Corbin. We had a lot of fun, and enjoyed seeing Mamaw and Papaw play the Wii for the first time! :)

The boys found a new fun place to hide

Wii Bowling! :)

opening gifts

Gee, what a surprise...Ruby eating the paper...

Robert's gift from Bryan... a sign he made for Robert's Woodshop

:)

Grandma's platter from the Grandkids...painted just by the 3 of them (if you couldn't tell)! :) We loved it and I think she did too!

Ruby's Ikea potty chair! LOVE IT! Thanks Aunt Bobbi!

Noah slept through gifts, so he got to catch up after he woke up

Ruby loves her Aunt Bobbi!

Mike and Bryan Wii boxing... this was definitely made for brothers!

The next two pictures weren't staged...each boy took his turn sitting and looking at the tree in their jammies before we left. Two great pictures!

Christmas at Home 2008

These are really out of order, but I'm not feeling up to organizing them right now. We had a WONDERFUL Christmas with our little family at home on Christmas Eve morning! I enjoy Christmas so much more now that we have kids to share it with. It is just so amazing to see Christmas through their eyes! We started several new traditions for us this year and continued one from last year. God is incredibly good!

opening stockings (we did this last...but these pics are all out of order)

one new tradition...new pj's for the night before to show what each child enjoyed that year in their lives... Mickey and counting...perfect for Noah

Building a project with daddy

Ruby's new friend

well...she has no hair so why not?

Ruby got Minnie jams because...well, i couldn't find anything else cute in her size and it went with bub's pj's.

walking down the hall Christmas Eve morning...he really wasn't this tired...:)

no fireplace... but i love them here anyway. :)

she HATED the tree and being close to it...it took a few days for her to get used to it...
