Mamaw's Grandbabies

So after a LONG time of no posts (i forgot my usb cord in ohio), here are pictures that were taken of my mom, bailey, noah, and ruby for some sweet Grandma/cousins pics. They turned out pretty cute! :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this pic of Ruby and Bailey... it looks like they're telling secrets!
Mamaw Wilma with her three grandbabies

Mamaw with just Bailey and Ruby... (Noah was throwing a tantrum at the beginning of pictures so he wasn't in these)

Once he realized he could be on "tv" he perked up and cheesed it the rest of the time... He kept patting them on the head to tell them they were being good.. (like he does with our dogs...)

Ham... this was his own pose

i LOVE this pic of him
the next person who says this looks like a school pic gets e-smacked. growing up WAY TOO fast...

Beautiful Baby with Pierced Ears

I took Ruby today to get her ears pierced. Yes, she cried, so get over it. It was just like when she got her shots. I was incredibly nervous though and by the time we were done my blood pressure was flying high. Daddy wanted her to have pink earrings (even though he wouldn't go with me), and they are so pretty on her.

She messed in her diaper while we were waiting for someone else to get theirs done so I had to change her...I think she knew what was coming...
Marking the spot... this took twice as long because she wouldn't keep her head still

she had purple all over her ear and side of her face. (Yes, I looked a little freaked out...because I was...)

Ready...

Mama giving her kisses to help her feel better

Yowie, that hurt!
Okay, okay, I'm tough and now I'm even more beautiful! She saw people watching us through the glass and stopped crying almost immediately... show off...

She was asleep on my shoulder before I had finished paying.

Addison came for support, but got tired of waiting and fell asleep, showing Ruby what to do. :)

Beautiful!

A day out with friends

I'm finally starting to get into the 'dressing up' fun of having a girl... so she tried on quite a few things today. i adored this hat!
Waiting for her food at the restaurant in her cute new ear-piercing outfit

No Coffee is Safe...

Noah has always liked coffee, but lately he seems to be really into it. He sneaks drinks out of our cups all the time, pulls them off the counters and drinks them, and has even climbed onto the counter to pour his own from the pot~twice! (i don't know how he didn't get burned!!) i had to take these pics of him sneaking my cup from the counter, sitting on his stool, and drinking away. He even put the cup in the sink when he was finished (and thankfully it didn't break!)... Perhaps he's a future Starbucks owner... :) mommy would like that!

Hartford Fair 2008

Every year we spend time back in Bryan's hometown of Croton at the Hartford Independent Fair. This was my 10th year going when Bryan and I started dating, and the past two years we've enjoyed taking our kids! It's a great hometown fair!

150th year for the Hartford Fair!

Yay the fair!!

He loved the ponies!

watching the motorcross

Even Ruby liked the motorcross! That's mama's girl!
He had to get as close as possible
He liked the motorcycles, but the quads were his favorites!

This is the smallest motorcycle category...3-5 year olds!! to think he could be riding a motorcycle at the fair next year!! wow! i love all the parents on the track, running beside them, picking them up when they wreck, being all nervous...yep that'd be me. Notice the dark clouds moving in? yep, we got dumped on a few minutes after this picture. It poured and poured! Thankfully Bryan's parents live close by so we went there to wait out the storm.

Noah's Night Out

We decided to take Noah out by himself to give him some mommy and daddy time. We spent the evening at the park then went to a Clipper's game. He was somewhat fascinated by everything going on. He even got to sneak down to the front row with our friend Amy and was able to see the game close up! It was a fun night!
